Automated E-mails to all users


Time saver or what????

If you look at the list to the right, you will see all the options available to each user.

All a user need do is tick the relevant box online and you will then receive mail relevant to that action (assuming you have been given permission for it). If you are not interested in receiving mail for certain things you can turn them on and off as required as you go through the project. For instance, if you are overseeing a project you may only be interested in knowing when assets are placed on the site, just tick "Check in" and that is all you will get.

If you apply the "Rules" function in Microsoft Outlook the e-mails for specific jobs will automatically be sorted to their relevent folders (if you need help with this we are only too glad to help). The e-mail header is auto generated and will always be consistant. This makes for an extremely powerful and versatile automated system. E-mails are simple in content and are designed to inform only. Any detailed instructions will have to be sent under separate cover. Or why not create a correspondence folder on the system and users can pick up their instructions as and when they need them?

Imagine how much time could be saved on our 1000 page contributed title with 250+ authors. All notifications can be sent out to each author the instant something is uploaded to the system that is relevant to them. You do not need to set up FTP permissions, you do not need to attach hundreds of PDF files to individual e-mails and you can forget the fax. Everything is done on the system for you.

You don't even need to input all the relevant addresses yourself, just send them to us via our dedicated "new-users" e-mail using our internet form and we will enter them for you and let you know when they are done and ready to assign. This is part of the service and saves you the aggravation of inputting time consuming data.
