Many operations that are currently done by hand such as e-mail notification, sending schedules, chasing suppliers can be simply automated inside our system.

The system can be programmed to send out e-mails for every single upload, download, amendment, annotation, etc. In real time, as they happen. If you are away from your desk for whatever reason, the system will still notify the next person in the chain that an asset they have been expecting has arrived. Allowing them to get on with whatever function is required without your having to find the time to action this yourself. As we mention on the Save Money and Save Time pages the system keeps on working when you are in meetings, at home in bed, away sick or on holiday, it never sleeps and does not know what a time zone is. How many times have you lost time on a project whilst trying to find the time to send e-mails? It happens automatically and even copies you in on the mail if you want.

All PDFs can be automatically preflighted on upload to the system so saving printer downtime when they reject a file because it has failed their Preflight. All artwork can be preflighted BEFORE it goes into page. This is especially important for author supplied art. If a file fails preflight the preflight log is placed in its place and is clearly seen on the system.

The very second the last page is approved the composite book file can be created on the system without having to go back to the typesetter. This saves time and removes the possibility of errors being introduced. If late corrections are required after the final file has gone to the printer another full composite file can easily be created on the system or the Printer can simply pull in the amended pages. The integrity of the final files is always maintained.

Many users can be accessing the same files at the same time. Different users can be doing different things on the system so enabling true parallel processing.
